Declarations of Trust

We are residential property and declaration of trust solicitors in Exeter. We can advise on using declarations of trust, also known as deeds of trust, to protect property interests and can draft the necessary legal documents.

What is a declaration of trust?

A declaration, or deed, of trust is a legally binding document that typically sets out the financial arrangements between joint property owners and/or anyone else who has a financial interest in the property.

Deeds of trust are commonly used when individuals are buying a property together but are not contributing equally to the purchase price. They can be tailored to suit many different circumstances.
