We have a well-deserved reputation for our approach to employment and attitude to our staff. We are a flexible employer and have staff on a wide range of different working patterns. We will always strive as far as possible, taking into account the needs of the team, to give people the working hours that work best for them, as we believe this enables them to give the best of themselves.
We take the well being of our staff seriously. We provide access to wellbeing information and a confidential counselling service, we have ‘up/down’ electric desks to enable staff to find the working position that suits them, and to alternate between sitting and standing during the course of the day, all staff have access to a free shoulder massage at least once a month, and we try to meet up once a month for a healthy lunch provided by us at which all staff can catch up on what is going on around the firm. The healthy lunch is a nod to challenging the never ending supply of cake that seems to find its way into the office!
The partners are committed to maximising staff engagement and are increasingly transparent in the information shared with staff about the financial aspects of the business. Questions are welcomed, and should we fall down on the sharing of information we have an active staff committee who ensure communication between the partners and staff remains open.
We are committed to recruiting staff from non-traditional backgrounds and place huge importance on staff development and training. We have a significant number of staff who have trained and qualified while with the firm. We have also taken active steps to make our recruitment processes more inclusive and our workforce more diverse.

While we pride ourselves on being courteous and polite, sometimes we don’t get around to responding to every unsolicited job or work experience enquiry. A lack of response does not mean that we would not welcome a further application from you in the event we do advertise a suitable opportunity. It just means we’re particularly busy at that point in time!
