Practice Management
Cartridges is an independent solicitors practice in St Thomas, Exeter. We have been in business since 1973 and provide specialist advice in both private and legal aid matters. Our aims are to:
- provide excellent legal services to our customers within a friendly, approachable, professional environment
- deliver value for money in our casework
- demonstrate social responsibility in our working practices
- develop our skills and expertise to meet the needs of the community
- provide a comfortable working conditions and secure employment for our staff
The management of the firm is undertaken by the four Partners and the Practice Manager. The Managing Partner Penny Scott, together with four other department managers, ensure the timely delivery of our legal services and supervision of staff.
The Practice Manager, Val Shaw, develops, manages and implements business policy and strategy, and undertakes HR management duties. She has been with Cartridges since 2008. With an MSc in Corporate Management, she is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, and has many years senior management experience in both the private and public sectors. She is assisted by Dana Mulligan in day to day responsibilities
Cartridges has been accredited with the Lexcel Practice Management standard since 2007, acknowledging our high standard of management and customer care.
