CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 2011

Cartridges are delighted to be supporting the Cowick Street Christmas Lights again this year.  On Thursday the 1st December there will be a late night Christmas shopping night, from 5:00pm. The switch on is scheduled for 6:00pm. EXE FM, formerly known as Exeter FM, will be presenting the evening, from an open top bus parked in the St Thomas precinct in Cowick Street. With them will be the Exeter Chiefs, and Daniel and Morgan Cullen, the Exeter City Football Club Youth Academy boys whom Cartridges sponsor. However, our biggest guest is Father Christmas himself, who will be handing out free toys to children! In addition, the local schools are joining forces to provide a choir for the night. They are practicing 8 carols, which they will perform in the run-up to the switch-on. This is a new attraction, and something Cartridges along with the St Thomas Neighbourhood & Traders’ Association are very proud to be supporting. As well as complementary mince pies and soft drinks, there will also be a hog roast.  All this and a chance to do some early Christmas shopping. So bring your family and friends down to Cowick Street to celebrate some Christmas cheer! Last year’s event was a fantastic evening, and this year promises a repeat!
