The law is a second career for Penny. She worked previously as a project leader in the public sector providing constructive activities for young people in trouble with the law and subsequently as a counsellor assisting women with unplanned pregnancies.
Penny qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and now works exclusively on cases involving children and their welfare; she is a member of the Law Society Children Panel.
