We have a highly specialised and experienced team at Cartridges and can advise and represent you if Social Services have taken you to Court or if there is a chance that they might.
Our team is Penny Scott (Partner) - Penny has been a member of the Law Society's Children Panel for over 10 years and has represented parents, grandparents and children in Court's throughout the South West. Penny is a member of both the Association of Lawyers for Children and Resolution. Before becoming a solicitor Penny worked for several years in Youth Work and Counselling.
Nicky Mein (Solicitor) was a Social Worker before transferring to the law and qualifying as a solicitor with Somerset County Council, where she worked for several years, giving her a unique perspective from both sides of the fence. Nicky is also a Children Panel member.
Lisa McLaughlin (Para Legal) has a background in Mental Health Work; she has also worked in Family Centres. Lisa is a Law Graduate and is studying to become a Legal Executive.
Penny, Nicky and Lisa are supported by Jane Worth and Julie Farmer, both of whom also have huge experience in the law and children.
